WILD REPUBLIC TALKING BINDI DOLL
What it is: A cute-as-can-be 10-inch doll in the image of Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late Steve Irwin of The Crocodile Hunter fame. Bindi has a wildlife show on the Discovery Kids Network.
What it does: The doll speaks 10 phrases recorded by Bindi, such as “Crikey, let’s go help wildlife” and “Extinct stinks.”
What’s cool: Bindi comes in three versions — Wildlife Rescue (shown here ), Ocean and Surf, and Rainforest Research. Each doll is in a different outfit (surf suit and flip-flops for the Ocean and Surf, and khaki capris and an “Extinct Stinks” T-shirt for Rainforest ) and has theme-appropriate accessories.
