THE SKINNY: We fell madly in love with PB 2 — a much lower-calorie, much lower-fat peanut butter (technically it’s oil-stripped peanut powder until it’s mixed with water; we promise it’s better than it sounds ) — more than a year ago.
And we had remained faithful. But recently we were tempted to stray. The cause: the new Chocolate PB 2. We were positive that if the full-bodied peanut variety was tasty, the chocolate peanut variety would be superb.
But we weren’t as smitten with the Chocolate PB 2 (variety ) that had only faint chocolate and peanut flavors, at least as traditionally prepared (but perhaps we’ll experiment with some of the recipes on the Web site ).
