2 jailed on felony drug, weapons charges

Two Springdale men are in jail on felony drug and weapons charges after an undercover investigation, police state in a news release.
Tom Caffrey, 58, and Tory Williams, 25, were arrested Thursday by members of the Springdale Police Department crime suppression unit and the 4 th Judicial Drug Task Force, according to the news release.
Caffrey was arrested on three counts of illegal delivery of a controlled substance after police said he sold marijuana to an undercover task force officer.
Williams was arrested on three counts of illegal delivery of a controlled substance upon a subsequent investigation. Officers said they found 3. 5 grams of crack cocaine when they arrested Williams.
After Williams’ arrest, officers searched his residence at 2739 Channel Place, where they said they found an ounce of crack cocaine, an ounce of marijuana and a. 40-caliber handgun equipped with a laser sight.
After the search, officers added two charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, one for the crack cocaine and one for marijuana. Charges of possessing a firearm by a felon and simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm also were added.
Williams faces an enhanced sentence of 10 years for selling, delivering and possessing with the intent to deliver crack cocaine within 1, 000 feet of the Creative Children Learning Center.
Caffrey is being held on a $ 2, 500 bond. Williams is being held on a $ 5, 000 bond.
