Country seems to be spinning out of control

It's only a personal opinion, but I am afraid to read the newspaper or watch the news. Every day, something worse has happened to our nation. It doesn't matter where we place blame. The fact is it is happening, and we the people not only have a right to panic, but we need to do something.

Should we march on Washington ? Not until we the people have come up with a plan of our own that will help. Are the bailouts right ? Are they helping ? Are they making matters worse ? If I was only $ 10, 000 in debt, no one would bail me out, much less bail me out and give me a retirement package.

The people who got us in the mess certainly don't deserve any type of retirement pay. Why can't they be like the common folk, find themselves out of a job for screwing up at work and then get out there and pound the pavement looking for another job ?

I am not only afraid of the collapse of the government; I am sick of the way all of it is being handled. But like most of America, I don't know what to do. I don't think either of the political parties has the savvy to pull us out of this one. We have too much government, and that requires more and more taxes. We are going broke paying these guys to sit in their ostentatious offices (which we also pay for ) and make rules about our lives, of which they know nothing.
