WEST FORK — West Fork got its first live action of the season Tuesday night at Tiger Stadium, beating Gentry 28-14 in an exhibition benefiting the Arkansas Activities Association’s catastrophic injury fund. Next Tuesday the Tigers open the 2008 season against rival Greenland in the Simmons First/Hootens.com Classic. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. in Bentonville. The Bella Vista Women’s 9-Hole Golf League will hold its Summer’s End Member-Guest Tournament on Monday, Sept. 15, at the Berksdale Golf Course with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
