ROGERS - The Rogers Mounties golf team won another match Tuesday to remain unbeaten this season, posting a 152-178 win against Rogers Heritage at Prairie Creek.
Senior Matt Keller and sophomore Jes Sanders each shot 37 (+ 1 ) to share medalist honors and lead the Mounties. Slade Hames finished with a 38 and Hunter Mobley added a 40.
For the War Eagles, Taylor Goines had the lowest score with a 43, followed by Chas Goines (44 ), Jack McMillan (45 ) and Jared Gilstrap (46 ).
The Mounties host Bentonville today for a ninehole match at Lost Springs. Heritage is back at Prairie Creek on Thursday against Springdale. Volleyball SILOAM SPRINGS - Bentonville Gold lost 25-12, 26-24 at Siloam Springs on Tuesday in freshman volleyball action.
Meghan Green led the Lady Tigers with a. 900 serve percentage and 2 aces.
Bentonville Washington won the eighth-grade match 25-18, 25-23. Morgan Manley had 3 digs and 3 kills while Hanna Thompson had 4 aces for the Lady Wildcats.
BENTONVILLE - Bentonville Black improved to 2-0 this season with a 25-9, 25-12 win against Fayetteville Ramay in freshman volleyball action Tuesday night in Bentonville.
Melissa Bakke had 3 kills, Bear Brown had 7 assists and Haley Campbell had 7 aces to lead the Lady Tigers.
In the eighth-grade match, Katlyn Benhem had 9 aces while teammate Hailey Mc-Nee had 8 kills and 2 solo blocks to help Bentonville Lincoln to a 22-25, 25-13, 15-6 victory.
BERRYVILLE - The Gravette Lady Lions dropped their season and conference opener at Berryville on Tuesday night 25-27, 28-26, 22-25, 24-26.
Kasey Burrow led Gravette with 8 kills. Morgan Bayley added 5 kills and 2 assists while teammate Tajhe Turner finished with 14 assists. Tennis FORT SMITH - The Bentonville Tigers and Lady Tigers both won their conference openers at Fort Smith Southside on Tuesday, each team improving to 3-0 this season. BHS won the girls' match 10-0 while the BHS boys won 6-4.
The Lady Tigers extended their regular season winning streak to 54 straight in dual matches; the Tigers have won 53 in a row.
Amy Andersen, Kendall Krause, Anna Bever, Arden Brazzeal, Oksana Hillyer and McKenna Krause all won their singles matches for BHS. Brazzeal / Bever, Anderson / K. Krause, Hillyer / M. Krause and Morgan Ryan / Snhue Chikkala all won a point in doubles.
Brandon Ellis, Matt Tabler and Varun Shaw won a point with singles victories for the Tigers. Retz Chapman / Ellis, Kevin Morris / Shaw and Ryan Dinsmore / Alex Eng won their doubles matches.
