BENTONVILLE - A former Little Flock resident was arrested on suspicion of raping three girls.
Jorge Hernandez-Camacho, 22, of San Minto, Texas, is being held in the Benton County Jail on three counts of rape, a class Y felony.
He is suspected of raping three girls ages 8, 9 and 10, according to Little Flock detective Sam Robinson.
Police began investigating the allegation in July after the complaint was referred to Little Flock authorities from the Arkansas State Police Hotline, Robinson said.
Police believe the abuse occurred in 2004 when Hernandez-Camacho lived in Little Flock, Robinson said.
The arrest warrant was served Aug. 22 at a Springfield, Mo., facility where Hernandez-Camacho was being held under a U. S. marshal's hold for illegal re-entry into the United States, Robinson said.
Hernandez-Camacho was booked into the county jail at 9: 45 p.m. Aug. 26. He is being held in jail in lieu of $ 150, 000 bond. If convicted of the charges, Hernandez-Camacho could receive a sentence of 10 to 40 years or life in prison on each count.
