Food drive to be held in conjunction with Gentry-Gravette football game on Friday

GRAVETTE ó The First Christian Churchís Feed My Sheep Food Pantry in Gravette will be conducting a food drive to be held at the Gravette Lions / Gentry football game on Friday, Oct. 3.
The pantry booth will be set up at the stadium main gate, where non-perishable foods and monetary donations will be accepted.
ì We would appreciate any donations, î said Pastor Mike Gibson. ì These items will definitely be needed to help stock the pantry for the holidays. We are asking residents of Gravette and surrounding communities to bring a few canned goods to the game. Food is provided to clients in many towns, including Decatur, Gentry and Siloam Springs, as well as to clients in Northeast Oklahoma, Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri. With our current financial climate being uncertain, we know our client base will continue to rise, î he said.
