Editor,

We greatly appreciate the coverage of the Cherokee Strip Fly-in. The pictures and the story were great !

We thought people would enjoy seeing this picture of two of the most unique attendees at the flyin. A 1917 Model-T Ford car and a 1942 Stearman.

The Model T is owned by Frank Severn. The Stearman is owned by Roy Clark ó most famous for starring in the television show ì Hee Haw. î

Some people not mentioned, but whom we would like to be recognized are the friends who not only flew in but also drove in and helped make the fly-in a success. These include the Courier-Journal, Layne Nichols with the Spavinaw Stove Company, Al Williams with Grand Aviation, Cam and Jane Klassen with the Wooden Spoon, Farril Mefford, Marcella Mott, and Bryan Wilkins.
