County Fair Is Underway This Week

The annual Benton County Fair is in full swing this week - the second year the fair has been at its "new"location at Vaughn near the intersection of highways 279 and 12.
The fair will continue through Saturday with the midway also opening at noon Sunday.
Two Gravette High School seniors competed in the Miss Benton County queen contest Tuesday night: Chelsea Goodwin, daughter of Ken and Nancy Goodwin, sponsored by friends and family; and Jordan Singleton, son of Jim and Lisa Singleton, sponsored by the Gravette Chamber of Commerce.
Tim Craig of Gravette is president of the Benton County Fair Association board.
