New Life Ranch to mark 50 years of ministry with anniversary celebration

COLCORD, Okla. — New Life Ranch, a camp and retreat center in the Ozarks of Northeast Oklahoma is excited to celebrate 50 years of ministry. On Aug. 2, New Life Ranch will commemorate its golden anniversary with a day-long celebration to be held at the camp. The day is free and open to all who have had contact in the past with New Life Ranch. Fifty years ago, in 1958, Willard and Ruth Heck felt called by God to start a camp ministry. As they dedicated their newly purchased land “to the glory of God,” the future ministry and impact on the lives of thousands of people began. - Wednesday, July 23, 2008

The bride is the daughter of Lonnie and Brenda Thomason of Westville, Okla., and is a crew trainer at McDonald’s in Siloam Springs, Ark.
