William Eli Couch William "Bill"Eli Couch, 78, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Aug. 17, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, Ark.
He was born July 13, 1930, in Siloam Springs to Ernest and Ida Warren Couch.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and worked for Pet Milk Company for more than 20 years.
He raised registered Guernsey milk cows and was a former president of the Benton County Fair Association.
He enjoyed raising bird dogs and quail hunting as well as his International tractors and Chevy trucks.
He served as an elder and a deacon at First Christian Church in Siloam Springs and married Verlene Austin on July 17, 1955.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Couch Jr.; a sister, Wilma McDowell; and a granddaughter, Bridgette Millsap.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; four daughters, Sharon Whorton and husband Terry of Bentonville, Ark., Linda Cloud and husband Tim of Siloam Springs, Kay Millsap and husband Wally of Gentry, Ark., and Karel Hayre and husband Mark of Centerton, Ark.; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Campbell of Benson, Ariz., Oneita McKnight of Warren, Ohio, Catherine Bergthold of Shawnee, Kan., and Betty Hendrix of Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m., Aug. 20, 2008, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with Pastor Jason Murray officiating.
Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery.

Wasson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Katherine Louise Huffaker Katherine Louise Austin Huffaker, 90, formerly of Gentry, Ark., died Aug. 17, 2008, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
She was born to John and Ollie Austin of Gravette, Ark., and was active in the First Methodist Church in Gentry, having served as Communion Steward and Chair of the Memorial Fund.
She is survived by a son, Robert Huffaker and wife Kitty of Montgomery, Ala.; a daughter, Susan Dunham and husband Michael of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Aug. 23, 2008, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Gentry.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette.

Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs is in charge of arrangements. James R. Randolph James R. "Russ"Randolph, 92, died Aug. 16, 2008, at a St. Helens, Ore., care center.
He was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Summers, Ark., to James and Dora Roberson Randolph.
He married Bertha Jones on March 29, 1941, in Siloam Springs, Ark., and served in the U. S. Army from 1942 to 1946.
After World War II, they lived in Cincinnati, Ark., and moved to St. Helens in 1952.
He was a member of the St. Helens VFW, Kaiser Gypsum golf team and the Old Time Fiddlers Association, which they attended the national competition in Weiser, Idaho, for a number of years.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; five children: Russena Holmes of St. Helens; Sherry Cupp of Redmond, Ore.; Faren Russell of Crooked River Ranch, Ore.; Janice Randolph of Banks, Ore.; James Ross Randolph of St. Helens; a sister, Bonnie Earhart of Holden, Mo.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Aug. 19, 2008, at Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery.
Columbia Funeral Home-Directors were in charge of arrangements. Jose Jairo Sanchez Jose Jairo Sanchez, 18, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Aug. 10, 2008, near Watts, Okla.
He was born Dec. 26, 1989, in Copainala, Chiapas, Mexico, to Jesus Hernandez and Irma Gonzalez.
