With more than 300 miles to travel to see the Siloam Springs Panthers play in Helena-West Helena on Friday, having the correct directions in front of you could spell the difference between sitting on the 50-yard-line or passing the Mississippi state line.

While most of the trip is along Interstates 540 and 40, there are a few backroads to be traveled on.

Take I-540 South to I-40 East toward Memphis, Tenn. Take U. S. 49 / AR-17 at Exit 216 and drive toward Brinkley.

Go through Marvell and Barton into Helena-West Helena.

Turn left at the fourth stop light onto Plaza Street and follow Plaza for approximately one mile.

• Cad Polk Stadium will be on the left across from Wendy’s Hamburgers. The address is 103 School Road for those using a Global Positioning System to find your way to Phillips County.

Admission is $ 5 for students and adults.

Only AAA approved passes will be recognized, so your Siloam Springs season pass won’t work to admit you at the stadium.

Fans need to be prepared to walk through metal detectors.
