Ruth Easterbrook Bertin Ruth Easterbrook Bertin, 81, of Houston, Texas, died June 24, 2008.
She was born Dec. 3, 1926, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Carl and Reba Dyer Easterbrook.
She attended schools in Siloam Springs, Cottey College in Nevada, Mo., University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and Tulsa University.
She married Dr. John Bertin in 1986 in Albuquerque, N. M., and worked for Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque before moving to Houston.
She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, and was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Emma Lou Selby.
She is survived by a son, Douglas Nance of Mexico City, Mexico; a daughter, D. Elaine Nance of Los Lunas, N. M.; a sister, Frances McKinney of Siloam Springs; and a grandchild.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of First United Methodist Church July 24, 2008, at 2 p. m., with Dr. Randy Rowland officiating.

He was born Dec. 6, 1954 in Chico, Calif., to Warren and Winnie McFarland Boling.
He was a telephone contractor and an Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, and one son.
He is survived by five sons, Dennis Boling and wife Stacy of Siloam Springs, Dustin Boling and Daniel Boling both of South Carolina, Don Boling and Duke Boling; his mother of Siloam Springs; and a sister, Diane Perkins of Columbia, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p. m., July 23, 2008, at Fayetteville National Cemetery, in Fayetteville, with Louie Thomas officiating.

Wasson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ruth Catherine Kuelper Ruth Catherine Kuelper, 62, of Gentry, Ark., died July 21, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center, in Springdale, Ark.
She was born Dec. 29, 1945, in Gentry, to Leonard Elda Burris Singleton. She was employed by Emerson Electric for 26 years, with the last few years as a supervisor, and worked for Dollar General.
She had served several terms, and was currently serving on Gentry City Council. She was a lifetime member of Bethel Heights Assembly of God Church in Gentry.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dixie Hefton, and her father.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Kuelper of Harrison, Ark., and Arlen Kuelper of Siloam Springs, Ark.; a daughter, Linda Kuelper of Gentry; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her mother of Gentry; two brothers, Floyd Singleton and wife Thelma of Tulsa, Okla., and Gary Singleton and wife Gwen of Maysville, Ark.; and a sister, Lois Ennis of Helena, Mont.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m., July 25, 2008, at Decatur Assembly of God Church with Kirk Anderson and Dennis Jech officiating.
Burial will follow at Coffelt Cemetery, near Vaughn, Ark.
Public viewing will be from noon to 8 p. m., July 24, 2008, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
