Fayetteville police arrested a second suspect Thursday linked to a Wednesday morning stabbing outside a local apartment complex.

Troy Wright, 42, of 1935 Stone St. Apt. 109 in Fayetteville faces felony charges of first-degree battery and parole violation.

The first suspect, 43-yearold Leslie Orlando Blackburn, was taken into police custody on Wednesday and booked into the Washington County Detention Center on the same charges.

Wright is accused of threatening a man with a knife as the man was walking to a friend's apartment on Bedford Loop at about 1 a.m. Wednesday.

After being approached by the two suspects, the victim told police that Wright began yelling in his face, asking if he "had a death wish. "The accuser told the suspect to calm down, at which point Wright allegedly brandished a knife. Blackburn allegedly stabbed the man in the stomach with another knife. The victim ran off and dialed 911. He was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center.
