An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspected driver and shooter in a drive-by shooting at a University of Arkansas fraternity house last year involving three suspects.

Ysmael Anthony Aguilar, 19, of Fayetteville faces an arrest warrant filed Thursday on charges of accomplice to a terroristic act.

Aguilar is accused of driving the car and firing at least three shots toward the Sigma Chi fraternity house near the corner of Maple Street and Gregg Avenue, in the early morning hours of Nov. 3.

Another man, John Chanthavong, 18, was arrested in connection with the shooting, but he was never charged. He pleaded guilty to unrelated drug charges Aug. 19.

Chanthavong was sentenced to 20 years - 10 years in prison and 10 years suspended - on two counts of possession of a controlled substance (Ecstasy ).

As part of the negotiated plea, he agreed to testify truthfully for the state in the drive-by shooting case.

Witnesses told police that three uninvited, unidentified people entered the house during a party and were escorted out of the fraternity house by members. A short time later, three shots were fired toward a group of people standing in the breezeway on the east side of the house along Gregg Avenue.

Chanthavong told police that Ibarra attempted to sell Ecstasy at the frat party, and that after they were kicked out, they felt "disrespected"by fraternity members.

Chanthavong told police Aguilar decided to turn the car around and go back and then he fired the shots toward the frat house, according to the affidavit for his arrest warrant.
