Children’s Library
Saturday Cinema will be held at 2 p. m. Nov. 22. Enjoy a film with the whole family. This week, the Children’s Library will present “ Journey to the Center of the Earth” in 3-D starring Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutcherson. Rated PG. Runtime: 92 minutes. Children under 7 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Crafty Creators will be held at 6 p. m. Nov. 24. It is an hour filled with creation and imagination. This week create window scenery with craft sticks and tissue paper. Let your imagination soar. This program is best for ages 5 to 10.
Bilingual Story Time will be held at 6: 30 p. m. Nov. 25. It is a fun family story time that’s twice the fun with stories and rhymes in two languages. This program is for the entire family with stories in English and Spanish. Come for the stories and stay for the craft.

This week, the Children’s Library will present “ Kit Kittredge: An American Girl” starring Abigail Breslin and Julia Ormond. Rated PG. Runtime: 92 minutes. Teen Thursday Nights at the Rogers Public Library are for teens in eighth through 12 th grade and their guests. Refreshments provided, but don’t take them out of the Community Room. The next Third Thursday Game Night will be held from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. Nov. 20.
Join the Young Adult Advisory Council at Rogers Public Library from 11 a. m. to 11: 30 a. m. on the Second Saturday of the month. Discuss what’s happening, and what you would like to happen, at the library. Refreshments will be provided. Group is for grades 8 to 12. Brought to you by the Rogers Public Library Teen Scene.
Have snacks, watch an episode of an anime program, as well a chance to share your anime artwork, fanfiction or just chat with other anime fans on the second Saturday of the month from noon to 2 p. m. The Arkansas Parks, Recreation and Travel Commission voted to close the present trails at Hobbs State Park - Conservation Area during the Hobbs fall firearm deer hunting seasons.
Shaddox Hollow, Pigeon Roost and the Hidden Diversity Multi-Use Trails will be closed to all users during the fall gun deer seasons. The Hobbs Muzzleloader season is Nov. 15-19. The Hobbs Modern Gun season is Nov. 29 through Dec. 3. The Hobbs firing range will also be closed during these two gun hunting seasons.
The only exception will be the Historic Van Winkle Trail on Highway 12. It will remain open during all hunting seasons. It is an ADA, foot traffic only trail.
