Caregiver stress workshop The Caregiver Stress Workshop offered by the Schmieding Center for Senior Education is offered to help caregivers handle the stress of the caregiver role. "The'Write'Way to Live and Manage Stress: Journaling for the Care giver"will be the topic presented from 1: 30 p.m. to 3 p. m Sept. 25 at the Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education, 2422 N. Thompson Springdale. Jina Lewallen, MSW, LCSW, MA will be speaking.

Senior health fair Elder LifePhases-Bella Vista Senior Health Fair "Fall into a Healthy Lifestyle"is open to the community from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 25 at Riordon Hall, Bella Vista. There will be multiple vendors as well as hourly lectures on health topics important to you throughout the day.

Family caregiver workshop The center presents a Family Caregiver Workshop "Physical Skills for the Family Caregiver "from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 1 and 2. The workshop will be conducted by Sherry White, RN, at the Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education, 2422 N. Thompson, Springdale. If you care for an older adult at home, this program is designed for you.

Attendance is recommended for both days, but not required. Space is limited, so pre-register by calling Sherry White at 876-2335 or Rachael Wall at (888 ) 866-8991. Classes are free of charge.
