Coffman

Carolyn S. Birlew Carolyn S. Birlew, 62, of Rogers, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, in Rogers. She was born Oct. 29, 1945, in Beaumont, Texas, to Marie Bliss.

She married Franklin Birlew in 1993. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin Birlew; and a sister.

Cremation arrangements were by the Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers. Joree Brown Joree Brown, 88, of Garfield, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008. She was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Garfield to Henry Taylor Ford and Coila Park Ford.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed singing, playing piano, crocheting and drawing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Monroe Brown; a brother, Russell Rich Ford; two sisters, Louise Harrison and Marcea Clausen; a granddaughter, Tonya Largent; and a great-granddaughter, Miranda Largent.

Survivors include a son, Joe F. Brown of Springdale, Ark.; three daughters, Carolyn Fields of Garfield, Marilyn Burks of Rogers, Ark., and Ruth Blackburn of Ojai, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Taylor. Burial was at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Garfield. Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale, Ark. Holden Matthew Coffman Holden Matthew Coffman, 9 months, of Rogers, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. He was born Nov. 26, 2007, in Little Rock to Al Coffman and Cindy Coffman.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gail Brewer; and his paternal grandfather, Dewayne Coffman.

Survivors include his parents, Al and Cindy Coffman; two brothers, Hayden Coffman and Harrison Coffman, both of the home; a sister, Hannah Coffman of the home; his paternal grandmother, Carole Coffman of Mesquite, Texas; two aunts; two uncles; four great-aunts; four great-uncles; and many cousins.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 26, at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Wes George. Burial was in Babyland at the Rogers Cemetery.

Juan Carlos Corletto Juan Carlos Corletto, 39, of Rogers, Ark., died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, in Springdale, Ark. He was born Aug. 16, 1969, in Santa Ana, San Antonio Pajonal, El Salvador, to Oscar Armando Corletto Urrutia and Ana Josefina Mendoza.

He married Evelyn Rivera on Dec. 29, 2007, in Santa Ana, El Salvador. He worked for Wal-Mart.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Rivera; five daughters, Natalie Corletto, Helen Corletto, Carla Corletto, Andrea Corletto and Katerin Corletto; his mother, Ana Mendoza; two brothers, Oscar A. Corletto and Carlos Antonio Corletto, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; and six sisters, Gloria A. Alas, Delmy Corletto, Rosa Maria Rivera and Janet Corletto, all of Los Angeles, and Lisa Corletto and Claudia Corletto, both of San Francisco, Calif.

Funeral services were held at Groman Mortuary of Los Angeles, Calif. Burial was at the Resurrection Cemetery and Mausoleum in Montebello, Calif. Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers. Nolen Darrell Hart Nolen Darrell Hart, 47, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, in Rogers. He was born Feb. 18, 1961, in Tucumcari, N. M., to Hubert Hart and Martha Hart.

He married Kerry Michelle Brewer on July 3, 2004, in Springdale, Ark. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, WWE wrestling and spending time with his family. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Hubert Hart.

Survivors include his wife, Kerry Hart; two sons, Brian Marlett and Jesse Marlett both of the home; two daughters, Darien Marlett and Cassie Marlett both of the home; a brother, Dean Hart of Rogers; eight sisters, Geneva Borrum of Rogers, Charlotte Hart of Missouri, Connie Hart of Canyon, Texas, Cheryl Hart, Margaret Hart and Marion Hart, all of Amarillo, Texas, Jeanie Hart and Linda Hart, both of Orange Grove, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Benton County Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Poplin. Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers. Kenneth Ingram Kenneth Ingram, 68, of Garfield, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Oct. 15, 1939, in the Burkshed community in Washington County, Ark., to Edward Walus Ingram and Edith Grace Gibson Ingram.

He was a lifelong resident of this area and retired from J. B. Hunt as a freight-truck front-end mechanic. He married Jeanne Burton on June 12, 1992, in Rogers, Ark. He was a Christian.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Ingram; two sons, Kolby Ingram of West Fork, Ark., and Kiley Ingram of Carson City, Nev.; three daughters, Kendra Riggs of Bentonville, Ark., Robin Lutz of Rogers, Ark., and Kim Grant of Tampa, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Gina Garrard of Sasche, Texas; two stepsons, Doug Howell of Springfield, Mo., and Mark Howell of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Joe Ingram of Rogers, Harley Ingram of Avoca, Ark., and Cleo Ingram of Hindsville, Ark.; two sisters, Charlotte Rodgers and Pauline Evans, both of Rogers; 20 grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. Bill Kennedy, Sr.

Bill Kennedy, Sr., 78, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, in Rogers. He was born July 2, 1930, in Pawhuska, Okla., to Lemuel F. Kennedy and Josephine Mullens Kennedy.

He married Gladys Smith June 4, 1954 in Carthage, Mo. He was a welder for Hoyt Corporation and worked for Carthage Marble in Carthage. He was a member of the Duenweg Assembly of God Church and graduated from the Duenweg High School in Duenweg, Mo. He also served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Smith Kennedy; three sons and two daughters-inlaw, Billy J. Kennedy and Kathy Kennedy and Tommy Kennedy and Pauletta Kennedy all of Rogers, John Kennedy and Janet Kennedy of Lowell, Ark.; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Margaret Evans and Don Evans of Avoca, Ark., Jana Hollis and Steve Hollis of Rogers; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Robinson and Gene Robinson of Branson, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in the Little Flock Cemetery. Arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers. Joyce Marlow Joyce Marlow, 89, of Bentonville, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. She was born July 28, 1919, in Gateway, Ark., to Charles Jones and Mary Susan McClure Jones.

She was an active member of the Rogers First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers, Ark., where she was involved in the Searchers Sunday school class. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence P. Marlow, in 1993; and three siblings, Arlie Jones, Clyde Jones and Nadine Deason.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, C. Dale Marlow and Donna Marlow of Longview, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Sue Webb and Gene Webb of Rogers, Ark.; three grandchildren, Tony Webb, Caroline Pennick and Anna Marlow; three stepgrandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; six step-greatgrandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alan E. Johnson and the Rev. Cole Pennick. Burial was at the Rogers Cemetery. Arrangements were by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.

Pallbearers were Tony Webb, Brad Webb, Bobby Coffee, James Mayfield, Dale Webster and Elvin Banz.

Honorary pallbearers were C. Dale Marlow, Gene Webb and the Searchers Sunday School class.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762; or to the Rogers First Church of the Nazarene. Scyblene Glover Rountree Scyblene Glover Rountree, 86, of Rogers, Ark., died Sept. 20, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center of Rogers. She was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Arkadelphia, Ark., to James Gilford and Finnie Leona Newberry Glover.

She graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1941. She married Hogan Rountree in 1943, celebrating 65 years of marriage on July 29, 2008. She moved to northwest Arkansas from El Dorado, Ark., in 1965. She worked by her husband's side in the family business, Prairie Creek Country Club. She enjoyed oil painting, cooking, writing poetry, collecting angels, garage sales, reading her Bible and praying for others. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Carolyn Jane Rountree; three brothers, Ray Junior Glover, J. G. Glover and Charles Glover.

Survivors include her husband, Hogan Rountree of the home; two sons, Don Rountree and wife Bonnie of Rogers and Bobby Rountree and wife Lenee of Rogers; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Bruce and husband David, and Sarah Rountree; one grandson, Seth Rountree; two sisters, Catherine Williams of Haltom City, Texas, Mary Sue May of Mansfield, La.; and three brothers, George Glover of Mansfield, La., Ray Dean Glover of Mansfield, and Jim Glover of Waco, Texas.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at First Baptist Church of Rogers with Rev. Tommy Hinson officiating. A private burial was held. Arrangements were by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 626 W. Olive St., Rogers, AR 72756. Peggy Sue Tillman Peggy Sue Tillman, 63, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at her home. She was born July 28, 1945, in Garfield, Ark., to Albert Jasper Wight and Jerolene Chism Wight. She lived in this area all her life. She married Ben Tillman on Feb. 21, 1962. She worked for CTS in Bentonville, Ark., for 23 years and enjoyed reading. Survivors include her husband, Ben Tillman; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Tillman and Bonnie Tillman of Pea Ridge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Thompson, and Andrea Shaw and Brian Shaw, all of Pea Ridge; and three sisters, Betty Schumacher of Indianola, Okla., Doris Hanner of Pea Ridge and Katherine Powell of Rogers, Ark.

Graveside services were held Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Bayless Cemetery in Garfield, Ark., with the Rev. Jerry Nichols. Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
