The kickoff of the 2008-2009 football season will begin with the fifth annual Blackhawk Pride Night Monday, Aug. 25.
Sponsored by the Pea Ridge varsity cheerleaders, the event will begin with hotdog and hamburger dinners prior to the junior high scrimmage against Cedarville.
Dinners will be served beginning at 6 p.m. Hot dog dinners are $ 3 and hamburger dinners are $ 5. Each dinner includes chips, baked beans, dessert and drink. First come, first served !
The Pea Ridge Booster Club will also be on hand to sell Blackhawk apparel.
The Pea Ridge Junior High football team will scrimmage Cedarville beginning at 5: 30 p.m.
The varsity football team will take the field at 7 p.m.
