Fall has arrived and seniors are busy in Durham

Fall is now with us and you can feel it in the air. I have potted some plants and have several Canna bulbs to take up. We have enjoyed them so much. I will pick seed from my Oreo cookie vines and my red cardinal vines for next year.

I get my new knee Oct. 15, and I hope to able to more in the flowers next year.

Mark your calendars for Oct. 11, that will be the day of the Durham Community Festival. Lunch will be adult pitch games.

The building looks so nice s, ince the ladies washed windows, floor mats while the guys painted the baseboards.

Everything is done and is ready for use for the Oct. 18 Durham School Reunion, so the lists is beginning to grow for the buildings use this fall and winter.

Monday night is card night at 6: 00 p.m. and can always start another table if needed.

The menu this week is chicken and dumplings, green beans, rolls, drink and dessert.

Have fun at the craft fairs this fall.
